THE TRIP NORTH

The year beginning in Guatemala would bring us back to Chapala. A few months rest with small camping trips interspersed, we headed north through the States of Aguascalientes, Zacatecas, Durango and Chihuahua to see the total eclipse in Nazas, Durango. Eventually we would drive as far as Montana then south again. This year we gave away all of our ski gear. Another wonderful chapter of our lives over. Rainy season is so beautiful on Lake Chapala and La Reservita so happy we are quite content to stay close to our Base Camp: Casa Tecalote. Ending this year in Nayarit for an incredible Christmas Bird Count.
